Kiati Plooksawasdi is an award-winning photographer, educator, and workshop instructor known for his expertise in creative lighting, and visual storytelling around boudoir, fashion, dance and sports portraiture.

Kiati is a husband, proud father of two daughters, dance dad, and entrepreneur. As a dance dad, he knows his way around a curling iron and can put up a mean ballet bun.

With over 16 years of experience behind the camera and in front of the classroom, Kiati has taught photographers of all skill levels how to transform ordinary scenes into extraordinary images through intentional lighting, posing, and creative direction.

His educational approach combines technical mastery with practical real-world application, empowering photographers to elevate both their artistry and their businesses. Whether teaching studio lighting fundamentals, advanced creative techniques, or business strategies, Kiati delivers engaging, hands-on experiences that leave attendees inspired and equipped to take immediate action.

Kiati regularly leads workshops, retreats, webinars, and live demonstrations throughout the United States and internationally.
